Yesterday, I made my first Twig & Tale piece, a Petal Dress. I am so glad the pattern was free (because it made me stop and consider trying T&T). And I am so glad the Flutter Sleeve I was obsessed with was part of the Crossroads vest (which needed to be purchased). Why? Because now I have a next project all lined up. One T&T is not enough. Your patterns, teaching materials and on line Chat help are all exquisite. The photos of folks creations are priceless. I am thrilled to add photos of my first T&T project.
This must be my favorite pattern I bought in 2024! I already made 3 of them, and will definitely be making more versions. Perfect in linen, wool, corduroy, wool, … and easy to combine with all kinds of tops.
It just gives an amazing vibe!
We are in Winter and my favourite way to wear my Wildflower pinafore has been over a dress made of French Terry knit fabric, and I’ve been toasty. I haven’t worn a pinafore in a long time, and I’m really enjoying it, and the whimsical feeling it gives.
Being part of the Show and Share team for this pattern, I was gifted the pattern, and I was also privileged to see behind the scenes and was so impressed with the team’s dedication to get a great fit and produce such a high quality pattern. It of course has a great step by step tutorial with colour photographs, projector file which has unfolded and mirrored pieces and thick lines.
I love picking fruit but always end up with my shirt or dress as a carrying tool. I now added all the pockets to My pinny for maximum picking capacity.
I enjoyed making this so much and cannot wait for warmer weather so I can wear it everyday.
This must be one of the most beautiful makes I've made so far. I absolutely love my pinafores (I've already made 2)! I love all the pocket options, and how clean the inside of the bib is, with such a clever construction. I feel very much like a hobbit wearing this, which is just the way I like to feel!
Whatever stage you are at in your life this pinafore dress is for you. I couldn't decide betwee the button or tie straps and classic or pleated bib so I made both. They each have their own style and are perfect layering pieces.
The pattern comes with 3 different pocket roomy options which makes it perfect for work wear, I added a different pocket from the Kea add on set to mine and loved how it echoed the bib pleats.
I have what feels like a million patterns in my collection, though none are quite like the Wildflower Pinafore. As a healthcare professional and mom, I love this pattern as it can be dressed up or dressed down and works with all seasons. And it is both feminine and practical. I have been trying to steer away from my default leggings and tshirt combo, haha! This pinafore is perfect to fill a gap in my wardrobe that I didn't know I had. The construction came together easily, the videos were helpful. The waist construction and ties was smooth and professional, they came out looking great and it was clear lots of thought went into the drafting and constuction details. 10/10 recommend this pattern, especially if you love pockets!
